On February 25, 2025, a delegation of the Council of Evangelical Protestant Churches of Ukraine met with the leadership of the Billy Graham Association, Samaritan’s Purse, and pastors of Charlotte as part of an advocacy trip to the United States.
The clergy informed about the ministry, challenges, and threats to the ministry and existence of churches in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.
They also discussed further cooperation in the humanitarian, educational and other spheres to overcome the consequences of Russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine.
The Billy Graham Association and Samaritan’s Purse have been actively involved in humanitarian projects almost since the first days of the war. Thanks to their cooperation with Ukrainian churches, hundreds of thousands of Ukrainian citizens have received spiritual, humanitarian, medical, and psychological assistance.
